Our mission at Gates Wesleyan is to KNOW Jesus Christ and GROW in him so we can SHARE him with others

Our vision is to help every person become a fully devoted follower of Christ

• School of Christian Living Classes – Sundays at 9:15 AM. Each week dedicated teachers guide students in a study of the Bible. Some classes are age specific (young adults). Others are either a systematic or topical Bible study.

• H.O.M.E. groups – Every week various homes of the church are open for ministry and encouragement. These groups are geographically diverse to accommodate people who live throughout the Rochester area.

• Discipleship 101-401 - Ongoing seminars designed to teach the basics of the Christian faith, introduce people to the Wesleyan Church and its ministries, teach on spiritual gifts and service, and equip for leadership

• Men’s Bible Study – Every week men are encouraged to gather for breakfast and a study of the Bible before heading off to work.

• Best Year’s Fellowship – Once a month the “over 50” crowd gets together for some kind of dinner or activity

• Power Surge – On Wednesday evenings the church is open for a time of prayer and intercession for the needs of the church, community, and the world.

• Men’s and Ladies Retreat – Annually the men and women of the church participate in the Central New York District men’s and women’s retreats at Chambers Camp.

• Family Camp – Chambers Family Camp, sponsored by the Central New York District of the Wesleyan Church, is held annually during the second week of July.
